Warm greetings. I am Jaehyang Lee, President of the Blue Siren Marine Environmental Restoration Organization.
BLUE SIREN is an action-oriented environmental NGO dedicated to tangible, impactful solutions for ocean restoration. In particular, we stand at the forefront of salvaging submerged benthic waste—unseen marine debris that accounts for nearly 90% of our ocean litter, yet continues to accumulate due to the immense technical challenges of underwater recovery.
Because it lies concealed beneath the surface and far from our daily lives, many do not realize just how rapidly our marine ecosystems are deteriorating.
While BLUE SIREN’s initiatives alone cannot heal the entire ocean, we aspire to serve as the vital catalyst that unites governments, corporations, and global citizens in concerted action.
Before it is too late, BLUE SIREN will remain at the forefront of safeguarding our blue planet.
